What’s in a name? In this case, everything we stand for.

Since the day I started at Arm & Hammer Animal and Food Production in 2017, I would tell anyone who asked that I work at an “advanced research and analysis lab in Waukesha, Wisconsin.” While accurate (both then and today), those words never quite captured the full extent of the innovation happening within those walls, nor the expertise of the passionate scientists unlocking new opportunities for customers day in and day out.

Thankfully, all that has changed, and I can now proudly say that I work at The ScienceHearted Center. When I think about why the time was perfect to brand our “advanced research and analysis lab” The ScienceHearted Center, three key reasons come immediately to mind.

1. Guesswork doesn’t work in animal and food production.

Taking the guesswork out of dairy, beef, swine and poultry production has always been our lab’s mission. In fact, one key role is to use our Microbial Terroir™ platform to provide unique, science-driven insights on pathogenic challenges and tailor our CERTILLUS™ brand of Targeted Microbial Solutions.

2. Passion + expertise = more opportunities unlocked for customers.

In addition to Microbial Terroir assessments, the experts in microbial ecology, genomics and immunology at The ScienceHearted Center also explore new product developments and track emerging challenges on farms and in food processing. By doing so, they provide new solutions and unlock innovative opportunities for our customers all the time.

3. The best research requires state-of-the-art resources.

The research and analysis done at The ScienceHearted Center has the tools and resources to understand microbiological issues at the deepest possible level. It’s an integral part of the investment that ARM & HAMMER™ continues to make each year in technology. Our team’s advanced degrees, coupled with years of hands-on experience, help turn those resources into actionable insights.
