PRINCETON, N.J. (May 19, 2011)—Church & Dwight Co., Inc.’s Specialty Product Division announced the addition of two technical services members to its Animal Nutrition business. Dr. Joel Pankowski will join Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition as Manager, Field Technical Services, and Jessica Tekippe as Technical Services Specialist.

In his new role Dr. Pankowski will support the dairy enterprise sales team, providing technical expertise to nutritionists and dairy operations in the Eastern and Central U.S.

“Dr. Pankowski brings almost two decades of industry experience to Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition, which will help us continue to provide value-added on-farm service and support,” says Jonathan Griffin, Sales Manager, Dairy Enterprise Sales with Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition. “His background will enable him to assist nutritionists and dairy producers in troubleshooting on-farm challenges, providing real-world nutrition solutions.”

Dr. Pankowski received both his Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science and Master of Science degree in Dairy Management from The Ohio State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Animal Science from Cornell University, with a special concentration in reproduction and epidemiology.

With extensive experience in livestock and dairy management, Dr. Pankowski has worked in a variety of technical and leadership positions with Monsanto Dairy Business, CPG Nutrients, AGWAY, Land O’Lakes Purina Feed, and most recently, Alpharma Animal Health. Jessica Tekippe

As Technical Services Specialist, Jessica will be responsible for providing technical support for the ARM & HAMMER® field team and dairy product portfolio and assisting with on-farm trials.

“Jessica’s strong background in the dairy industry makes her a valuable resource for Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition, working alongside our dairy producer and nutritionist customers,” says Dr. Elliot Block, Senior Manager, Technology, with Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition. “Not only does she have a broad spectrum of experience in the dairy industry, Jessica also has a strong knowledge of the Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition product portfolio, which will enable her to work closely alongside dairy producers and nutritionists in making precise ration decisions.”

Jessica brings to Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition nearly 10 years of dairy industry and research experience. Most recently she provided technology and data management support to Arm & Hammer Animal Nutrition on a contractual basis. Prior to joining Arm & Hammer, Jessica worked in The Pennsylvania State University dairy nutrition lab as a graduate research assistant.

Jessica received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dairy Science from Iowa State University and her Master of Science degree in Animal Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
